Still Life
In this personal project I was challenging myself and my skills in a topic I’m not totally familiar with, to try and push myself outside of my comfort zone.
From an artistic side, the project is a study of light and composition, trying to replicate the renessance artistic style.
From a technical point of view, the project served as a way to get better at building Fstorm Materials and using the rendering engin, as well as familiarizing myself with Marvelous Designer.
I used some readily available assets, such as the books, skulls, and flowers, but tried to improve on thier material instead of using what’s already provided by the asset.
