Glass Lamp Prototype

This project combines traditional material reuse with digital fabrication. I created this lamp by repurposing a large glass vessel, cutting it to size, and engineering a 3D printed top component to fit the specific diameter. The 3D printed lattice structure was designed to cap the glass while allowing light to cast interesting shadows, merging the weight of the glass with the lightness of the plastic.
