The simplicity in the choice of materials and the earthy color scheme creates a harmonious balance among the different elements of this piece.

The contrast is evident in the use of colors: dark marble flanks each side of the sofa, while light fabric and wood tones dominate the rest. This contrast is further emphasized by the alignment of all lines to one side, enhancing the sense of opposition and resulting in the formation of the sofa-table.

The sofa is complemented by two items: the coffee tables and the chairs. These two pieces work together to complete the overall furniture ensemble. The use of copper in both pieces ties the design together and balances all the elements.
